XPeng Motors officially launched its presence in the Philippines at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, unveiling a six-variant lineup spanning the flagship X9 MPV and the L03 SUV Coupé. The event drew automotive executives, dealer partners, media, and banking representatives, with actress and television host Anne Curtis named as the brand’s official ambassador. Starting prices begin at PHP 1,548,000 for the L03 EV Standard Range, offering fully electric and range-extended luxury vehicles to Filipino buyers.
XPeng X9 MPV: Luxury and Range
The XPeng X9, an ultra-intelligent seven-seater MPV, leads the local offering in two Long Range configurations. The base X9 Long Range retails for PHP 3,858,000, featuring second-row Zero-Gravity seats and a central aisle for third-row access. The higher-end variant with a Premium Seat Package costs PHP 4,058,000, adding four-way powered headrests and 16-point seat massage functions. Both models are powered by a front-wheel-drive electric motor delivering 235 kW (320 PS) and 450 Nm of torque, paired with an 110 kWh battery providing up to 615 kilometers of range. Engineering highlights include active rear-wheel steering for a 5.4-meter turning radius, dual-chamber air suspension, and a power-folding third row.
Owners of the X9 receive extensive ownership support, including five years of free preventive maintenance, roadside assistance, and warranties covering the vehicle for five years and the battery and motor for eight years. A 7kW home wall charger is also included.
XPeng L03 Coupe: Compact Electric Options
The XPeng L03 Coupe arrives in four distinct variants, targeting buyers seeking a sportier profile. The entry-level EV Standard Range starts at PHP 1,548,000 with a 58.3 kWh battery for up to 445 kilometers of range. The L03 REEV, priced at PHP 1,598,000, combines a 37.2 kWh battery for 215 kilometers of electric driving with a gasoline engine that extends total range to 1,017 kilometers. The EV Long Range variant costs PHP 1,698,000 and offers 71.1 kWh capacity for 520 kilometers. The top-tier EV RWD Long Range Ultra, at PHP 2,058,000, adds front-seat massage, upgraded audio, and advanced driver assistance hardware.
All L03 models feature rear-wheel-drive motors, a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and 539 liters of rear trunk capacity. L03 owners receive two years of free preventive maintenance, five-year vehicle warranties, and eight-year battery coverage. Battery-electric variants include a 7kW wall charger, while the REEV model comes with a 3.5 kW portable charger.
XPeng Philippines emphasized pairing its vehicle technology with robust ownership support and an expanding local sales network. Deliveries are planned to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 through initial dealerships in Greenhills, Makati, North EDSA, and Cebu. The launch also showcased XPeng’s X2 Flying Car and IRON Humanoid Robot, highlighting the brand’s broader technological vision beyond traditional automotive offerings.
The L03 REEV’s gasoline engine functions solely as an electric generator, distinguishing it from hybrid systems that directly power the wheels.
