Using its Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Calculator, the company states an MPV 7 can cut expenses by approximately PHP 413,000 over three years versus a standard internal-combustion engine (ICE) seven-seater.
Based on the online tool, the three-year expense for an MPV 7 that includes its battery comes to roughly PHP 1,502,167, while a standard ICE seven-seater would amount to about PHP 1,915,148.
The estimate is built on a monthly travel of 1,000 km and takes into account fuel or electricity expenses, service fees and loan costs. Using those parameters, VinFast calculates that owners could save PHP 412,981, equivalent to 22 percent.
VinFast highlights operating expenses as an additional factor for shoppers interested in seven-seat models, a market that remains popular in the Philippines. According to figures released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), combined AUV and MPV sales reached 43,706 units between January and July 2026.

VinFast says the projected savings are also influenced by its EV ownership programs, including a battery subscription option and free charging through V-Green charging stations until March 2029. The MPV 7 is covered by a seven-year vehicle warranty and a 10-year battery warranty.
The MPV 7 uses a 60.13-kWh usable battery and has a claimed range of up to 450 kilometers under the NEDC test cycle, with DC fast charging capable of bringing the battery from 10% to 70% in around 30 minutes.
Actual costs vary by factors like fuel prices and mileage. The total-cost numbers rely on VinFast’s stated assumptions and comparison vehicle.
