Fashion: What To Wear, Shopping Tips & Designers
At the heart of each Northumbria campus, our libraries provide a range of study space and technology to suit every learning style. Learning and teaching centres around hands-on exploration of craftsmanship, technical skills, materials and processes enabling you to display evidence of your creative thinking. Activities in design studios and specialist workshop environments are integral to this process in all levels of your study, encouraging individual creative freedom in a collaborative design community.
You will learn how to research, develop and design a market-led collection of garments presented as a Fashion design portfolio. You will learn how to produce a personal portfolio in both physical and screen-based formats and present these at critiques, giving opportunity for evaluative feedback and exchange with peers in preparation for Industrial Placement at level 5.
